Prof. De Vera is an Assistant Professor at the Asian Institute of Management and currently serves as the Executive Director of the AIM TeaM Energy Center for Bridging Leadership (AIMTEC-BL). A respected leader in development and public policy, he has played a vital role in shaping leadership programs that empower changemakers across sectors.
He holds a PhD in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex (UK), a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Since 2014, Prof. De Vera has overseen the development of the Future Bridging Leaders Program (FBLP) as its Program Director. Beyond academia, Prof. De Vera brings over a decade of experience in public policy design and implementation, working closely with leaders and institutions to drive meaningful and inclusive change.
